Portfolio
This is our portfolio. We'll be regularly updating it with our best work as we create it. The most major piece of work that we can talk about right now (some things need to be kept a secret, to not spoil surprises) was called Project Ophiuchus. This was an Alternate Reality Game which ran for 4 weeks starting in February 2008. We had over 250 player registrations at www.1in50million.co.uk and the project included over 1500 lines of code between three websites and an intranet application. Some of the following formed parts of the Project Ophiuchus ARG
Most Recent
MADE IN BRUNEL - Throughout the year in preparation for the graduate exhibition, 'Made In Brunel', I've worked on the website including extensive Wordpress customisation and pioneering a new database system for the show.
1in50million.co.uk - A website created in C# and .Net 2.0 as part of the Project Ophiuchus ARG. This site was used in the game to add depth to a fictional group who are against the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
1 In 50 Million Intranet - This fictional intranet application was created so that players could poke around and find clues. Technologies used: Flex with a C# .Net 2.0 backend and SQL Server database.
ABN News - A fictional news video detailing the disappearance of a missing couple. I used a green screen and compositing techniques to create a 3D studio environment. Apple Motion was used to create the motion graphics for the report.
locatemyfriends.co.uk - Another website which I used in the ARG 'Project Ophiuchus'. I used Wordpress as a blogging engine and created a customised template to give the website a personal feeling. The blog was used throughout the game and players were encouraged to comment.
Project Ophiuchus - The first website discovered as part of the Project Ophiuchus ARG. This website revealed clues to players and later in the game they were able to upload their own puzzles to the site and solve them.
Other Work
Whilst on placement at Dreamspace, I worked on a number of large projects for clients. Work included building and designing intranet applications for pharmaceutical companies, designing and developing a social networking application for the children's charity Wellchild, and many other .Net and SQL server based projects.
